My labels

7/24/2014

First off, as far as labels go, I am a Christian, Conservative, Right-of-the-Middle, upper 40s Midwest divorced mom of three young children.  Let the prejudgements begin!

I am far from perfect in my walk of faith, parenting, being a good daughter, being 'healthy,' being reliable, and the list goes on. I do not pretend to even be half-way close to perfect in anything of these things; faking it over any period of time is very tiring.   But I do strive to be.  And sometimes it is very, very difficult.

I have a Bachelors degree in Business Administration from Harris-Stowe University,  and a Certificate in Paralegal Studies from Liberty University.  My public resume is at ConservativeJobs website.  I also have a LinkedIn profile.   I have blogged mainly, in spurts, on my local Tea Party's website - see KellyJaye.   Most of my life, though, has spent working full-time in private business.   In my spare time (what little there is these days!), my passion is supporting Missouri Precinct Project, ParentalRights.org, Heritage Action, the Foundation for Common Sense, Truth in America Education, and more.

I love to research, research, research, and sharing what I find with others.    I may be channeling Agatha Christie or Sherlock Holmes (well, more like Watson).  Knowledge is power, and that 'power' is free for all.   Unfortunately, for those who are corrupted by that power, would rather control others by various means and the byproduct is that people will not seek the truth themselves.   As long as people are convinced they have no time, are not smart enough, it's pointless, etc. then the corrupt will always be in control.  See the next post,  Welcome!  what and why, you ask?, for more concerning this topic.

That's about it.  Moving on...
